These lessons serve as preparation for any painting application, from watercolor to oil paint. The goal of the drawing class is to discipline your eye, hand, and mind so that you can quickly and enjoyably arrive at the correct line and proportion needed to begin any work of art.
You are welcome to work with any drawing materials you'd like, but here's a list of everything Sal recommends:
18x24" Newsprint Pad
Drawing Board
Assorted Graphite Pencils
Kneaded eraser
Sketchbook (Sal will be using the 14" x 17" -Optional)
Pencil sharpener or Exacto Knife
